Cassoulet cooking course

Alone or with others, discover all the secrets of a good local cuisine.

Every year, the Tourist Office organises various cooking courses.

The “Cassoulet” course is organised at the various restaurants on the Cassoulet Route in Castelnaudary.
From 2.30 pm to 5 pm, you will be welcomed by the chef in the kitchen of the restaurant or at the farm of Marie Ange. They will present the local products they work with. You will participate in the preparation of the dish. At the end of the day, the cassoulet of Castelnaudary will have no more secrets for you! As an option, you can leave with your own preparation. The course can accommodate up to 6 people.

On the occasion of the Foire au Gras de Castelnaudary which takes place on the first Sunday of December, we invite you to prepare your festive meals for the end of the year by cooking foie gras. You will be welcomed by a restaurant owner or a farmer who is a member of the Cassoulet Route, who will share their know-how with you. The courses take place from 2.30 pm to 6 pm, proposed at 100€/person, the “Foie Gras” courses can welcome up to 6 people.

We can organise these courses to measure, for individuals or groups of up to 25 people, throughout the year.
